The House of Dereon has finally come to London and launched in one of the UKs flagship stores Selfridges on Oxford Street.
Coinciding with the start of london fashion week, the launch of the brand is owned by Tina Knowles’ (Beyonce’s mothers) and Beyonce and her sister Solange- and is lovingly named after their seamstress grandmother Agnes Dereon. The fashion line finally debuted here yesterday after 8 years of success in the U.S. Taking the UK by storm with a dramatic fashion show to showcase the latest collection.
We enjoyed the fashion show- the latest line s/s 12 included a lot of striking bold prints, lots of sequins and sparkle and dramatic feathers so it is ideal for all us exhibitionist girls!
On the closing of the show the mother and daughter pair came down the run way to say thank you and looked very much like sisters in similar black smart outfits. Beyonce, who is now openly pregnant as she made the announcement of her news at the VMA’s a few weeks ago (story found here). It is the singers first child with rapper Jay-Z and is said to be taking daily massages and purchasing copious amounts of creams and lotions to keep stretch marks to a minimal- it is estimated that the couple will spend a million dollars in the run up to the birth of the baby!
Beyonce wore yet another sequined jacket which covered her entirely, (bump included) with a matching pair of sparkle pants and high platform heels.
They Both sat down to discuss the launch and their thoughts on British Fashion, also giving us incite into what inspires the designs and how they love Selfridges, stating that they came shopping in the store a few months ago!
Beyonce also declared her love for british model Kate Moss, admiring her fashion sense and the way she puts certain items together.
The Video of the beautiful pair is below…We have to say Beyonce is looking fabulous- she is actually glowing- she is clearly glowing!
Since 2004 the line has only been available in the USA but as of today it will now be on sale in Selfridges and is CURRENTLY only exclusive to the Selfridges store.
So if you want to fill your wardrobes with Beyonce’s fashion it no longer requires a flight to New york just a trip to Oxford street!
