The first UK Burberry Brit store opened last night and creative director Christopher Bailey beamed with excitement about the new upcoming project.
“At the moment I’m working on menswear and new stores around the world, it is all so very exciting and with the project launching in September… it is really big… but I can’t tell you about it yet” he boasted
Bailey kept the latest project quiet but we expect it’s going to be fantastic but he was happy to spread the news about the Burberry Brit. He stated it was a fun space with a positive and great energy, and they had looked for something for the Brit label but hadn’t found it till we found the new store. London is the home and the UK is out hometown he claimed.
The new store is the 7th in the world and offers fragrance, watches, menswear and women’s ready-to-wear.
Bailey was very much involved in the stores creation declaring he would always be in a hard hat and fluorescent protective wear if he could he loves to design be it fashion or architecture.
The new store can be found in Covent Garden.
Burberry Brit is the younger side of the brand- it’s for cool chic fashionistas offering a relaxed and stylish alternative to the brand.
