Favours are the little gifts that you hand out to your guests as a huge thank you for attending the wedding. The favours of yester-year used to be that of a little box with a few dry chocolates inside but as the world of weddings and choice is now available the choices are endless.

So we have scoured the net to find out top ten new and exciting favour ideas to give you inspiration on your table decor and little gifts of glory for your wonderful attendees.

10. Boxes are still one of the most common type of favour simply because its practical, its easy and it comes in a variety of colours and styles so we thought it would be best to start with this! Boxes can get as elaborate or simple- its useful to do so as you can fill with sweets, almonds, peanuts, jewellery if your a big shot! Choices are endless. 9. Bubbles are not just for the children! We have witnessed adults go crazy for blowing bubbles it can be slightly therapeutic. 8. Honey and food favours.

These are practical and useful items which will be well received and enjoyed. Everyone likes food, sweets and edible items. Honey is a great gift we are finding often at wedding shows and wedding suppliers. Natural organic honey are superb options. Arrange the favours in an elegant way and you have a great visual.

7. Something unique like soap!

I have to say this was one of the most unique pieces we saw online, not something I have thought about providing to guests.. but It is something everyone will take home and use and if it is personalised it is possibly even more of a ‘take home and use piece’ and at least whilst your guests bathe every morning they will think back to the awesome time they spent at your wedding!

6. Fruit baskets.

This is pretty unique and lovely to eat. Fruit baskets for the naturist and natural weddings. If your getting married on a strawberry field why not give your guests the produce. These handy baskets really are cute and your guests will be happy to leave with a punnet of fruit and a personalised card. It’s creative and fruity.

5. Food is now going to be heavily featured and we saw these tiny home made pies.. woah..blown away! Your guests get to take away a little savoury pie, if they don’t eat it at home, I’m sure the little pot of heaven will be devoured during the drive home when the midnight munchies attacks.

Glass pots help to conserve the inside and keep it fresh and flakey.. I think this is a great idea and one I would be happy to provide to my guests.

I am finding it hard to say which one I would pick so its possible my guests will end up with a medley of items!  If you can’t choose why not have all!

4. Mini Alcohol. These cute mini cocktails with accompanying book. These will vertainly be taken by your guests. Alochol is rarely left at weddings.. or anywhere as a matter of fact!

3. Cake pops

These are still quite new in the UK, The trend is coming and coming fast as favours or apart of the sweet tables. But why not add them to your tables as favours. Tasty edible and fun.

2. Give away plants.. these are a living bits of life that you can give your guests. They can nature the plant and watch it flourish.
