We have covered all sections in life from food, fashion, shoes, celebs and lost more so it felt necessary to move into the wedding side of the world since its a very close subject to us.
This is our first post of 2014 and we would like to introduce to you our favourite 10 luxury wedding cakes to give you inspiration and ideas on your possible wedding cake.

9. Pink Petal cake – we love how the petals have been delicately placed to drip down the three tier cake, this works well if you wish to incorporate your colour scheme to your cake through the use of a delicate item such as flowers. It is lovely! In this particular image orchids were used but of course it is possible to use any flower.
8. Mixed texture five tier cake with florals.
We love this as it is a great way to bring together several types of cakes smooth, plain, tufted, and ruffled it brings together a variety of feelings to the cake.
Once again the use of real flowers create a softer cake. The petals around the cake are also a finishing touch which works brilliantly well.. it is possible to completely cover the table with petals for a softer complete look!
7. The cupcake tier cake. We love this due to the mix use of the cake, no need to divide and conquer this cake it can simply be left in all its glory and your guest can take a cupcake each in a handy hand sized bite.
The lovely vintage style cake is truly delicate the hand made petals and flowers are a perfect addition to the take and must take a painstakingly long time to make but oh so worth it!
6. Soft and beautiful- This is a great option for elegance and softness. The vintage feel through the use of decorating brooches the hydrangea base and the lace detailing.
The metallic detail is also a feature we just cannot ignore. Superb.
5. The personality cake. Ideal for the couples that want to add a bit of fun and personality. This particular couple obviously have a particular affiliation with the sea which you can see through the use of the sea shells, coral and sea creatures. The cake creator captured this perfectly. Pure skill.
4. Woodland Cake- This is a lovely creation includes the woodland whimsical fun that this bride went all out on even with the rustic country wooden cake stand.

3. Traditional Ivory cake tower. Another four tier cake with a variety of textures which is a great the hand made flower heads really make this a spectacular cake of choice.
2. Crystal bling.
We do love a bit of sparkle and bling and this cake elegantly includes crystal. Another cake with a variety of textures including the popular tufted but jewel encrusted. The top bow is a final beautiful piece.
