Another beautiful celebrity that attended the Glamour awards last night in New York, was the lovely actress Kerry Washington. I had to post this article on her dress as I thought it was divine. The colour, The bling, The high split- it all worked so well for this awesome gal. The dress was part of the Resort 2012 Marchesa collection- I had a peek at the other designs and it is a great mix of vibrant and lovely gowns for red carpet or cocktails with friends..a really awesome designer than needs to be worn a lot more!
As pictured her designs are very young, youthful fun and fresh and perfect for Ms Washington.
The Yellow gown was a great choice for her golden complexion- not many people can pull of yellow but she certainly does-a few months ago we posted her in another yellow gown, so she knows, and we can certainly see it adds vibrancy and a summer time feel to the red carpet (despite the cold winter looming!)
The Lemon gown has a high split- which seems to be making a comeback for this particular award show- Jennifer Lopez also adopted the high split option (found here)
She complimented the dress with white beaded Marchesa clutch bag, some large diamond earrings and the celeb favourite Louboutin nude pointy painful heels.
Absolutely stunning!
