It’s that great time of the year again for The annual Glamour Women Of The Year Awards and as usual there were some amazing gowns out on show this particular night.

One of my favourite entertainers Ms J-Lo took to the stage looking ravishing in a nude/silver coloured gown by Versace, the figure hugging dress perfectly held her sumptuous curves as she posed on the red carpet. The ‘Into you’ singer donned the remarkably high split-to-the-thigh gown showcasing her firmly toned and tanned pins.

This is not the first time Jennifer has opted for Versace, back in 2000 she wore a green outfit by the designer which also caused a stirr due to its low cut front- seems to me that J-Lo gets it right in Versace it puts on display the best and hides the rest (which isn’t really much!).

Back in the day…

The awards  took place at the Carnegie Hall yesterday (Monday 7th November) in New York City and all the celebs were out in their finery to honour the women with “glamour” and style over the past year.

Jenny from the Block arrived in the impeccable gown which she paired with Jimmy Choo Shoes- a nice change from the Louboutins that everyone else has been wearing and accessorised with simple diamond Harry Winston Jewels. Newly seperated Ms Lopez won “The All Star award” for her efforts in music, TV, film fashion and beauty which she accepted and took to the stage in her show stopping gown.

The Silver/grey dress part of the Atelier Versace Fall 2011 collection is fully beaded with a embleished flower on the nape which cascades down the front of the gown.

Funnily enough Donatella Versace presented Jenny with the award so made sense that Jenny choose the gown, after all the green dress back in 2000 caught everyones attention for all the right reasons and Jenny’s stock rocketed!

I think she hit the nail on the head in this choice too- stunning elegant and perfect!
