Latin princess Jennifer Lopez was distraught this past week when she stated she was forced to end her career as a fashion line owner as her brand Sweetface established and very popular back in 2001, but 10 years on she faced critisims of overpriced clothing for poor quality goods.
The 41 year old American Idol Judge said “I didn’t understand the business well enough when I joined forces with Tommy Hilfiger’s brother Andy Hilfiger” she exclaimed. “It is one of my biggest disappointments” New York Times said she had felt like she never had a fair chance to do it right or get out of. My name was being stamped on things I didn’t believe in.” She exposed not having enough control to make a difference and the brand no longer translated her own style. The entire store is a very bold move as she has a new fashion collection to be launched next season with husband Marc Anthony and Kohls.
Jennifer is said to be fully in control in this brand and products she wants to make and staff are really ready to develop what she wants, her wishes are thier command.
